Fager is a Swedish developed brand in the highest quality, the developer is called Louise Fagerström and with her great interest in horses, Louise started as a developer and designer of Fagerdesign in 2011. Specialized in problem solving, and fascinated by metal, Louise started with developing bite to his own horse, which had a very sensitive mouth. After letting other horse owners try their bites with great success, it has brought her to where she is today, the start of "Fager bits".

Our Swedish profile rider Sabina Swärd has developed the pole bite with Fager and says:
"I was looking for a competition bite for my students and myself, which gives a precise contact to the horse. The bite should be soft in the mouth and comfortable to handle.I used to compete on a baby pelham bite, but many of my students pointed out that it was complicated to ride with two reins.
Together with Fager bite we developed a bite with really short rods, but which could be used with a single rein. We decided that the mouthpiece should be made of titanium, which my horses love.
