Horses we have tested this girth on have shown that their gaits have become freer and the horses have easier by lifting the back up and using the abdominal muscles, due to the plate under the horse's abdomen, and the elastic material. The girth therefore increases the horse's performance. We also find that the saddle does not slide forward so easily when using this strap.
The belt is made of textile material with leather details. The strap has a velcro closure that makes the strap easy to tighten. It therefore has no cumbersome small buckles to take the straps through, which makes it a pleasure to use every day, for the rider too.
