HORSEWARE RAMBO ICELANDIC 200 GRAMS WINTER TIRE

This rug has many uses, in addition to being specially developed for the Icelandic horse, it can be used as both the winter rug, the autumn rug and the rug for the cold-blooded Icelander.

We use it even as the winter tire of the partially cut or fully cut Icelander. On the partially cut without liners with the 200 grams, but on the fully cut we apply according to the weather conditions liners of 100 or 200 grams, so you have a winter blanket that can be used throughout the winter and apply / change liners according to how cold it is and what the horse need. There is no limit to how thick the liner you put on, the tire can therefore also be 500 or 600 grams thick for example!

The tire is in 1000D ballistic nylon, which provides high quality, durability and long life. The cover straps under the belly are shorter and specially adapted to the Icelander, there is great shoulder freedom so you avoid scratch marks on the Icelandic horse's shoulders, and it is nice and easy to put on / off as there are no leg straps but a tail strap at the back, which is also more comfortable for the horse. There are reflective details on the tire which make it look better in the dark, for optimal safety. It is 100% waterproof and breathable, and the inner lining is smooth, and the blanket therefore easily follows when the horse moves around the paddock, and is therefore not restricted in its freedom of movement. Closes easily at the front with one velcro, a buckle and 2 clips. Nice easy and fast to use in everyday life.

The rug is large in size, our experience is that the vast majority of Icelandic horses use 115 in this rug, but if you have a large / long Icelander, choose 125. However, not as big as the brown 100 gram rug we also has.
