These are black, and the color is burnt through, so the black does not peel off.
The tread surface is a little bit wider than the normal Icelandic S stirrups, but the same length.

Maintenance of the Aríus flexi stirrups:
"We recommend, for long-lasting durability, to maintain your flexi stirrups. This is done by pulling up the rubber piece and lubricating with WD-40. We do not recommend using these stirrups for riding in saltwater; if you do, they must be thoroughly cleaned of salt afterwards and lubricated afterward."
